About Altamash
Altamash Raja, DO, RMSK, CSCS
Dr. Altamash Raja is a highly trained physician dedicated to helping individuals optimize their quality of life.
He is the founder and co-host of the Medicine Redefined podcast which covers the topics of health and medicine with a special focus on improving health and healthcare practices.
Altamash grew up in the Northeastern United States and attended Rutgers University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Studies. He earned his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University and completed his residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he served as chief resident. He also completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Geisinger, further expanding his skills in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of sports-related injuries.
Altamash has an extensive background in performance coaching as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. His experience as the Head Performance Coach for Parisi Speed School has honed his ability to create personalized plans to meet individuals where they are and help them achieve their goals.
